Ms Dumpling Eastgardens

Come here quite often and the food is delicious! I always, always get the pan fried pork and chive dumplings which are filling, flavourful and juicy - paired with some chilli oil and soy sauce - delicious!

A great spot to grab a fast and delicious Chinese dinner is the East Garden Mall. They offer self-serve water and tea, as well as utensils. The restaurant is conveniently located on the ground floor, with easy access to restrooms nearby.

Very impressed with the food here, didn't expect much from a dumpling restaurant in Westfield but came out feeling this might be one of the best dumplings in the eastern suburbs. Each variety of dumpling had really thin skin, yet robust enough to house a good amount of soup and the meaty fillings are generous . It takes alot of skill and experience to keep these tasty morsels in tact with this balance of skin, soup and filling.To top it all off, the price was very reasonable. 32 for 3 dishes and enough to feed 2 adults. Our new favourite dumpling place!We only got delivery from them so can’t rate the service onsite but the food was prepared and delivered quickly. The dumplings are of good size, plum and flavourful. You can tell that they use good ingredients. The dumpling skins were nice and thin for handmade that is. Couldn’t fault any of them and the beef ones were the best I’ve had in Oz so far.

A short queue to order at the counter, then after given a table number, off to find an empty table.....quite easy, as patrons are coming and going constantly. Go and get your own cutlery, bowls and water, and a short time later, our first meal appears....This is casual dining, Asian style. The noodles were great, fresh and soft, simply tossed in soy with sprouts, egg and scallions, with the most important wok fried "burnt" oil flavour permeating the dish. The Pan fried Pork Buns were "epic", amongst the best I've ever tried, and believe me, I've tried plenty. Half baked crispy bottoms with a pork mince filling which when accompanied with the rice wine vinegar, is pure heaven, and the last dish, Xiao Long Bao were very good, perhaps could've been hotter, as they didn't burn my lips! Fairly expensive for what is a "light lunch" coming in under 40 for two, but this IS Westfields, with ample parking, facilities, and shopping at hand. The Food Court had plenty of options, but this place was by far, the busiest. The locals know where to eat, and now I know too!

Fried noodle with beef 16.80 , decent size servings , more traditional northern style , so a little more oil used but still tasty Xia long bao (pork soup dumplings) 9.80 for 6.One of the best soup dumplings I’ve had in a long time.Pastry skin is thin & translucentFilling of pork is tender & swimming in soup broth.Excellent There home made chilli oil is great too,Not too spicy but very fragrant, so can put lashing of it without getting spicy hot

Everytime I've come here, the food has been great! My family loves it, and I can see them making the dumplings fresh out the back. Some of our faves are the chilli wontons, xiao long bao and pan fried pork buns.The service is lovely and attentive too.

The food here is delicious. Fresh dumplings steaming hot. Xiao Long Bau is particularly delicious- ordered a second plate of it as my daughter wanted more. The beef noodles were good - nice flavour. Added chilli oil and chilli sauce on the tables as well as soy sauce.
